VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT 2013/14
Post: Blood Donor Recruiters (2 Positions).
Duty Station: Northern Zone Blood Transfusion Centre (Moshi).
Reports to: Head of Donation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Campaigning and Mobilization of community groups for blood donation.
Keeping records of donors participating in program such as schools, religious groups and community.
Arranging specific date of blood collection for blood-donor group and confirms appointment in writing and Keeping records of organizations participating in program. Arranging specific date of blood collection for blood-donor group and confirming appointment in writing.
Records information for mobile blood-collection unit, such as space available, staffing required, and number of donors/blood units anticipated.
Develops list of prospective donor groups by using organizational, professional, and industrial listings and directories
Contacts prospective donor groups to explain requirements and benefits of participation in blood donor program
Consults for blood bank records to answer questions, monitor activity, or resolve problems of blood donor groups
(repetition) Recruitment and retention of regular non remunerated blood donors.
Distributes promotional material and uses audio-visual aids to motivate groups to participate in blood-donor program
 Prepares reports of blood-donor program and recruitment activities
 Identifying donors with rare – type blood from blood – bank records, and telephone donors to solicit and arrange blood donation.
·Duties will involve constant travel.
·To perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Head of Donation.
Required Qualifications
· Holder of a Degree in Social Work or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
· Possession of appropriate interpersonal skills is a must.
·Three years working experience in the field.
· Must be a computer literate.
·Age below 45.

Post: Phlebotomists (2 Position).
Duty Station: Zone Blood Transfusion Centre (Mwanza/Mtwara).
Reports to: Head of Donation.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
Performs phlebotomy at the centre and at remote sites drawing blood from donors by using Standard operating Procedure.
Assist donor with questionnaires, performs   physical check on donors like blood pressure, temperature, hemoglobin check and others.
Assembles equipment, such as tourniquet, needles, and disposable containers for needles, blood collection devices, gauze, cotton, and alcohol on work tray, according to requirements for specified donation site.
Verifies or records identity of donor and converses with donor to allay fear of procedure.
(Phlebotomy part)Works as team member providing excellent customer care service (greeting donor), as well as providing for safety and comfort of donors.
Duties will involve constant travel with the mobile blood donation team.
Performs any other duties assigned by head of Donation.
Required Qualifications
· Holder Diploma in Nursing or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
· Must be registered with Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council, with work experience of at least three years.
· Must have a valid license to practice.
· Computer literacy is essential.
· Age below 45.

Duty Station: Zone Blood Transfusion Centre (Moshi/Mwanza)
Reports to: Head of Laboratory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs and supervise both routine and specialized tests in the ZBTC Laboratory according to SOP s.
Performs HIV, HBV, and HCV by Sem automation, automation system and Syphilis (TTIs) testing and blood grouping of blood units collected.
Processing collected blood into blood component.
Duties will involve constant travel to transfusion facilities for supportive supervision.
Performs any other duties assigned by head of laboratory unit. .
Required Qualifications
· Holder of Advanced Diploma Laboratory Technology, Bachelor Degree in Laboratory Sciences with additional training in Hematology/Blood Transfusion or Microbiology or equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
· Must have a valid license to practice.
·Three years working experience in the field.
· Must be computer literate.
· Age below 45

Reports to: Head of Laboratory.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs routine and specialized tests in the ZBTC Laboratory according to SOP s Performs HIV, HBV, HCV by Sem automation, automation system and Syphilis (TTIs) testing and blood grouping of blood units collected.
Duties will involve constant travel with the mobile blood donation team.
Performs any other duties assigned by head of laboratory unit.

Post: Blood Donor Counselor (1 Position).
Duty Station: Zone Blood Transfusion Centre (Mbeya)
Reports to: Head of Donation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform pre- donation counseling to all mobilized/ recruited and work in  blood donors and deferrer if necessary according to SOPs
To perform phlebotomy to blood donors.
To conduct post donation counseling to all tested blood donors, who have positive results refer them as appropriate.
To ensure that blood donor is notified of significant laboratory test results in time.
To provide support to blood donors about test result in the confidentiality manner and follow up.
Duties will involve constant travel for pre and post donation counseling to remote sites in the zone.
Performs any other duties assigned by head of Donation
Required Qualifications
· Holder of Diploma in Nursing/or Clinical Medicine or equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
· Must have a valid license to practice.
· Three years working experience in the field.
· Must be computer literate.
·  Age below 45
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree/or Advanced Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science or Technology and successful completion of a supervised one-year clinical internship. Specialist in Blood Banking/Haematology or equivalent advanced training,

Kwanza nachukua nafasi hii kuwashukuru kwa dhati wapenzi wote wa mchezo wa mpira wa miguu na wapenzi wa Mbeya City Fc popote pale walipo kwa kuiunga mkono timu yao muda wote wa michezo ya ligi kuu inayoelekea ukingoni hivi sasa.Klabu inathamini nafasi ya wapenzi na washabiki katika kujenga timu imara na yenye ushindani kama walivyofanya kwa timu yetu.
Timu yetu ilianza ligi msimu huu 2013/2014 ikiwa na malengo ya kuchukua ubingwa au kuwa katika nafasi za juu za ligi yetu.Hiyo ndiyo dhamila iliyokuwepo kwa viongozi,wachezaji pamoja na benchi la ufundi.
Michezo miwili imesalia kwa timu yetu kabla ligi kuu ya Vodacom kumalizika katika msimu huu 2013/2014.katika safari yetu ya ligi kuu kwa mara ya kwanza msimu huu, changamoto nyingi za kiutawala na za kimtazamo kutoka kwa wadau wote wanaohusika na mchezo wa mpira wa miguu nchini tumezishuhudia .Changamoto hizo ni ikiwemo upangaji wa ratiba usiyokuwa na uwiano mzuri,baadhi ya mechi kuamuliwa vibaya na waamuzi wa mchezo,wizi wa mapato ya milangoni unaotokana na mfumo mbaya wa uuzaji wa tiketi,uadilifu mdogo kwa baadhi ya viongozi wenye dhamana ya kusimamia mpira katika ngazi zote n,k.
Kuelekea mchezo wetu wa tarehe 13/04/2014 dhidi ya AZAM FC kumezuka propaganda chafu na ambazo si sahihi katika ukuzaji wa mpira hasa wa ligi ndogo kama ya Tanzania. Nachukua nafasi hii kutoa ufafanuzi wa baadhi ya mambo ambayo yamekuwa sehemu ya propaganda hizo:
1.    Klabu imehaidiwa kununuliwa basi na hivyo inajiandaa kutoa ushindi kwa kwa timu ya AZAM Fc na kuwarahisishia mazingira ya Ubingwa.
Halmashauri ya jiji la Mbeya limekuwa katika mchakato wa kutafuta na kununua basi kwa ajili ya matumizi mbalimbali  ya Halmashauri ikiwemo kutumiwa na timu zake ( Netiboli na Mpira wa miguu)ambazo zote zipo ligi kuu ya michezo husika kwa kufuata sheria ya manunuzi ya Umma. Mchakato huo ulianza tarehe 8/8/2013 halmashauri ilipotangaza nia hiyo katika gazeti la “the guardian” la tarehe hiyo kwa tender no.LGA/069/2013-2014/MCC/G/01   hii ni baada ya Halmashauri kutenga bajeti ya fedha za makusanyo yake ya ndani  kwa mwaka wa fedha 2012/2013 na 2013/2014 ili kukidhi haja hiyo.
Tangazo hilo halikupata mzabuni mwenye sifa za kufanya usambazaji wa basi hilo hivyo tangazo hilo lilirudiwa tena tarehe 12/2/2014 katika gazeti la majira kwa Tender No.LGA/069/2013-2014/MCC/G/01 (Re-advitised), Mchakato na maandalizi ya ufunguaji  wa ufanyaji wa tathmini wa zabuni hiyo unaendelea kwa mujibu wa sheria ya manunuzi ya Umma.

Pamoja na mchakato huo hapo juu,pia klabu inaendelea na mazungumzo na wadau mbalimbali wenye nia ya kuwekeza kwa udhamini wa bidhaa zao,moja ya maeneo ya udhamini ni pamoja na ununuzi wa basi la wachezaji  taratibu na makubaliano haya yatakapo kamili umma wa wapenda mchezo wa mpira wa mguu utajulishwa.
Hivyo propaganda hiyo kuwa klabu imehongwa basi si za kweli na si sahii ila zina nia ya kuidhalilisha timu yetu.

2.    Propaganda kuwa Mwalimu Juma Mwambusi kanunuliwa nyumba Maeneo ya chamazi ili apange kikosi dhaifu siku ya mchezo tarehe 13/4/2014.
Mwalimu(Kocha) Juma Mwambusi ni muajiliwa wa Halmashauri ya jiji la Mbeya,kwa maana hiyo ni mtumishi wa Umma. Mwalimu Mwambusi amekuwa na timu yetu kwa muda mrefu sasa na ataendelea kuwepo.Kumekuwepo na maneno yasiyofaa dhidi ya mwalimu wetu toka mzunguko wa pili wa ligi kuanza,maneno haya yamekuwa na nia ya kuaribu muenendo wa timu ili ianze kufanya vibaya lakini zaidi ya hapa yana nia ya kumdhalilisha mwalimu wetu na taaluma ya ukocha nchini.
Mwalimu amefedheheshwa  sana na taarifa hizo.

3.    Propaganda kuwa wachezaji wote wa kikosi cha kwanza wamepewa hongo wacheze chini ya kiwango 13/4/2014.
Wachezaji ndiyo wachezaji wenye nidhamu kubwa katika ligi ya mwaka huu ndani na nje ya uwanja muda wote,ni waadirifu na wanajua wanataka nini.Mpira ndiyo ajira yao kama watumishi wa umma ndani ya Halmashauri ya jiji la Mbeya.Hawajawahi na wala hawatawahi kuchukua rushwa kwa lengo la kupanga matokeo.

Klabu yetu haisadiki katika upangaji wa matokeo ya mchezo wa mpira wa miguu kwani tunajua fika kuwa hakutaisadia kama klabu lakini pia kama taifa katika kuendeleza mpira wa miguu nchini.

Hitimisho,
Mchezo wa mpira wa miguu una matokeo matatu kushinda,kushindwa na kutoka sare. Klabu inaamini kuwa timu iliyojiandaa vizuri kama yetu inastahili kupata matokeo mazuri uwanjani.Falsafa mojawapo ya timu yetu ni kushinda mechi kwa kucheza mpira unaovutia na kuwaburudisha watazamaji.

Tuhuma mbalimbali za upangaji matokeo katika ligi yetu zimeanza kuota mizizi hasa ligi inapoingia mzunguko wa pili ,katika suala hili kama ambavyo linataka kuhusishwa nasi yawezekana propaganda hizi kwa upande wa timu inayotuhumiwa kuandaa michakato hiyo wana uzoefu nalo na yumkini ndiyo chachu ya mafanikio yao mpaka kufikia hatua hiyo waliofikia sasa.

Kama timu hiyo inauwezo wa kirasilimali wa kufanya uovu huo wote iweje ishindwe kuwa na timu imara na ya ushindaji mpaka itegemee kutafuta wachezaji wa timu pinzani kupata matokeo mazuri?
Timu yetu ndiyo timu pekee changa miongoni mwa timu tano zinazoongoza msimamo wa ligi yetu kwa sasa,si hivyo tu bali ndiyo timu pekee inayoundwa na wachezaji wengi wapya katika ulimwegu wa soka na inayoundwa na Watanzania watupu kuanzia wachezaji,benchi la ufundi pamoja na viongozi.Hii inathibisha kuwa kama taifa tunaweza kufanya kazi nzuri bila kutegemea wachezaji toka nje baadhi yao wasiokuwa na tija.

Mpira ni ajira hatuna budi kuuratibu vema ili kutoa nafasi inayostahili kwa vijana wetu ili kupunguza tatizola ajira nchini lakini pia kutumia vipaji vyao kulipa taifa muonekano stahili.

Mamlaka zinazohusika hazina budi kuanza kufuatilia na kuchukua hatua kali kwa baadhi ya timu zinzohusishwa na upangaji wa matokeo ili kulinda heshima ya mchezo huo bila kuogopa uwezo wa rasilimali wa timu hizo.
